Happened

The NCOC was informed in the briefing that board examinations would be held across the country in any case, however, the decision on examinations and promotion of children would be taken at the inter-provincial conference of education ministers.

The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers' Conference will meet before May 23. The meeting also suggested that in the first phase, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth classes should be opened.

In this regard, let me further inform you that a notification has been circulating on social media since yesterday by the Committee of the Chairman of the Punjab Boards. However, this has not yet been confirmed. According to this notification, the examinations will be held in the following order.

• Class 10th --- June 17
• Class 12th --- July 02
• Class 9th --- July 27
• Class 11th ---  August 11

    Earlier, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood in a tweet had said that the examinations would be held after June 15 and also said that this year the papers of class 10 and 12 would be taken first. But we will not pass any test. We advise students to continue their education.
