 In which districts of Punjab will schools open from May 24?



According to the notification issued by the Punjab Education Department, the COVID-19 rate in 16 districts is less than 5%. Government and private schools have been allowed to open there from May 24, so we will open these schools 4 days a week. 50% of students will come one day and 50% of students will come the next day. This way a child will come to school 2 days a week.

The list of these districts is as follows:
  • Bahawalpur
  • Jhelum
  • Nankana Sahib
  • Sahiwal
  • Chakwal
  • Jhang
  • Narowal
  • Sheikhupura
  • Chiniot
  • Kasur
  • Pakpattan
  • Sialkot
  • Hafizaabad
  • Mandi Bahauddin
  • Rajanpur
  • Vehari
    However, it should be noted that the quid rate will be reviewed on a daily basis till June 7. At some point, the notification may be added to the list. Other provinces may also be included in the list. An earlier notification had been issued but a new notification was issued by Education Minister Murad Rass.

Public & Private Schools of Punjab in the following Districts will open for 4 days a week. Schools will be allowed to call students on alternate days with 50% attendance starting Monday, May 24, 2021.
