Open Educational Institutions in phases from May 24 to June 7.

 The NCOC has allowed open educational institutions in phases from May 24 to June 7.


 A meeting of the SCOC was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar and Lt. Gen. Hamoodul Azman, in which the Special Assistant for Health, Sindh Health Minister, and Chief Secretaries of all the federating units participated through video link.

The meeting reviewed the Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions (NPIs) in detail, while it was decided that outdoor weddings would be allowed from June 1, however, the wedding will be attended by a maximum of 150 people and the celebrations will be held in an open space outside the house. While the phased education departments will also be opened from May 24 to June 7, all examinations including Matric and Inter will be held after June 20, while there will also be professional examinations as recommended by the Ministry of Education.

However, from May 24, educational institutions will be opened only in those districts where the quota rate will be 5%. In addition, educational institutions will be opened in the remaining districts from June 7. In this regard, the provincial government will issue a notification according to statistics.


The meeting decided that tourism would be allowed with the Corona Protocol, while pilgrimages, cinemas, indoor dining, indoor gyms would be closed again, amusement parks, walking, jogging tracks would remain open with strict Corona SOPs. Sports, festivals, cultural and other events will be completely banned, while all outdoor cultural, musical, and religious gatherings will also be banned.
